Summary
Beginning August 1, 2026, Synapse Health will manage all DME ordering and fulfillment for UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage and C-SNP members in Florida and Mississippi. DME prescribers must use the Synapse Health e-prescribing portal instead of current ordering methods, and DME suppliers must join the Synapse Health network to continue providing services.
Action Required
Before August 1, 2026: Providers prescribing DME must transition to the Synapse Health e-prescribing portal for all UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage and C-SNP patients in Florida and Mississippi. Contact Synapse Health at 888-336-9363 or visit their website to schedule training. Update workflow processes to ensure all DME orders for affected patients go through the new system. Failure to use the Synapse portal may result in DME order delays or denials.
