Summary
Indiana Medicaid (IHCP) corrected pricing errors for 60+ DME codes that were incorrectly set to RBRVS and not paying claims since January 1, 2024. Mass adjustments will process automatically starting August 21, 2024, but manually priced codes require MSRP/cost invoice documentation for resubmission.
Action Required
By September 15, 2024: Billing team must identify any denied claims for the 60+ affected DME codes from dates of service January 1, 2024 forward. For manually priced codes (A4287, A4457, A6559-A6561, A6584, A6593, A6609), resubmit claims with current MSRP documentation or cost invoice (no older than 2 years) and attach first page of bulletin BT2024114. Monitor remittance advices starting August 21 for automatic adjustments with ICNs beginning with 52 or 80.
