Summary
Indiana Health Coverage Programs bulletin BT202448, issued April 23, 2024, updates the rates for select durable medical equipment (DME) and medical supply HCPCS codes effective for dates of service on or after Jan. 1, 2024, and these codes are subject to the 21st Century Cures Act. For these DME and medical supplies the IHCP uses the lowest non-zero 2024 Indiana Medicare DMEPOS Fee Schedule amount or competitive bidding single payment amount as the Medicaid allowed amount, and Table 1 lists each code with its updated max fee, separately for new purchase (NU) and rental (RR) where they apply. Claims processed in the indicated time frame are mass adjusted as appropriate, and adjusted claims appear on remittance advices beginning May 22, 2024, with internal control numbers or claim IDs that begin with 52.
