Summary
Nevada Medicaid has activated rates for new Quarter 3 2026 CPT, HCPCS, and ADA codes in their MMIS system. Effective July 1, 2026, claims using new codes will process without automatic suspension for missing rates. This update fulfills the previous announcement (Web Announcement 3945) by adding the actual reimbursement rates to the system.
Action Required
By June 30, 2026: Billing team must verify that all Nevada Medicaid claims submitted on or after July 1, 2026 will route through the updated MMIS system. Confirm with your billing software vendor that the system is configured to pull rates from the updated Nevada Medicaid MMIS. No manual workarounds or appeals should be needed for new codes after this date. Monitor the first week of claims (July 1-7, 2026) for any processing anomalies and report issues to Nevada Medicaid. Failure to ensure system alignment could result in unnecessary claim suspensions and delayed reimbursement.
