Summary
Alaska Medicaid has updated their fiscal agent processes including new mailing addresses for different submission types, updated forms for appeals/adjustments/voids, and stricter provider enrollment requirements. The Allscripts portal (formerly Payerpath) support contact has been clarified, and denied claims can no longer be voided or adjusted - only resubmitted as new claims.
Action Required
Immediately: Update mailing address records - use PO Box 240769 for claims, PO Box 240807 for adjustments & voids, and PO Box 240808 for provider enrollment. Download current forms from the Alaska Medicaid website rather than using saved versions. For Allscripts portal issues, call 800-877-5678, option 1,1,1,1. When claims are denied, submit new claims with corrected information instead of attempting voids or adjustments.
