Summary

Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must update the pharmacy claims system to remove the following manufacturers from the reimbursable provider list in New Jersey Medicaid: Reliable Drug Stores Inc, Longs Drug Stores California Inc, American Dermal Corporation, Advanced Remedies Inc, and Primatec Pharmaceuticals Inc. Add the following manufacturers as reimbursable: Connaught Laboratories Inc, Mass Public Health Bio Lab, Carolina Medical Products Co, American Generics Inc, Cooper Vision Pharmaceuticals, Hamilton Pharma Inc, and Loraman Inc. Update vendor files and claims adjudication rules to reject claims from deleted manufacturers on their effective dates. Verify each effective date from the source newsletter and communicate the changes to all pharmacy billing staff. Claims submitted from deleted manufacturers will be denied after their effective dates.
