Summary
Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) announced new reimbursement rates for home- and community-based services waivers including Division of Aging (A&D), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Community Integration and Habilitation (CIH), and Family Supports Waiver (FSW) services. Most rates are increasing significantly, with providers required to bill using the new rates for all services provided on or after July 1, 2023.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must update system with new rates for all listed HCBS waiver services effective July 1, 2023. Use new rates for all claims with dates of service on or after July 1, 2023. Submit corrected claims for any previously submitted claims with old rates for services provided after July 1, 2023. Monitor for CMS approval and Gainwell Technologies mass adjustment of claims.
