Summary
IHCP will automatically reprocess claims that incorrectly denied with EOB code 1010 due to rendering provider enrollment issues for services before October 1, 2023. The system has been updated so the October 1, 2023 cutoff now applies to service dates rather than claim receipt dates.
Action Required
By December 19, 2024: Review remittance advices starting June 26, 2024 for reprocessed claims with ICNs beginning with '80'. If you have additional claims that denied with EOB 1010 for services before October 1, 2023, resubmit them within 180 days of May 23, 2024 and include a copy of bulletin BT202469 to satisfy timely filing requirements.
