Summary
IHCP identified a system error on June 19, 2024 that incorrectly denied fee-for-service claims with specific EOB codes. The system has been corrected and affected claims will be automatically reprocessed with ICNs beginning with 80.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team should monitor for reprocessed claims with ICNs/Claim IDs beginning with 80 to confirm previously denied claims from June 19, 2024 are now being paid. Review any claims denied on June 19th with EOB codes 4107, 0532, 4218, 4975, 9999, or 2033 to ensure they are reprocessed correctly. No resubmission is required as claims will be reprocessed automatically.
