01All billing and provider management staff must ensure completion and submission of the HCBS Cost Survey for any HCBS services billed during July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026.
02Assign responsibility to collect financial data (costs, utilization, workforce data, direct care worker compensation) and submit via the Myers and Stauffer HCBS Cost Survey tool.
03Failure to submit by the deadline will result in automatic Medicaid payment suspension beginning January 1, 2027, that remains in effect until a completed survey is received.
04Providers should attend live Q&A sessions (August 5, August 20, September 2, September 15, 2026) and access recorded training modules on the Myers and Stauffer website.
