Summary
Indiana Medicaid corrected a system error and added 6 Money Follows the Person (MFP) waiver services to their fee-for-service claim processing system, effective retroactively to January 1, 2026. Providers can now submit or resubmit claims for these behavioral management, employment support, and benefits counseling services within 180 days of June 9, 2026.

01Billing team should review claims for MFP waiver services with codes H0004, T2025, and T2040 denied since January 1, 2026, and resubmit with appropriate modifier combinations (U7, U5, UA, UB, UC as specified).

03Update billing system to recognize these code/modifier combinations for MFP CIH, H&W, and PathWays waiver patients.
