Summary
The Illinois All Kids School-Based Dental Program will operate from August 31, 2026 through July 31, 2027. All enrolled dental providers and public health dental hygienists rendering services in school settings during the 2026-2027 school year must attend one of three mandatory informational conference calls (August 5, 7, or 14, 2026) to review program requirements and updates. Failure to participate or complete program requirements will result in non-payment of services.
Action Required
By August 14, 2026: All dental providers and public health dental hygienists who render services in school-based settings must register for and attend one of the three mandatory Illinois HFS/IDPH informational conference calls (August 5 at 11:00 AM, August 7 at 11:30 AM, or August 14 at 12:00 PM CT). Contact information: HFS.Dental@illinois.gov. Billing team must flag this requirement for all providers participating in the All Kids School-Based Dental Program. Document provider attendance. Providers who do not complete this requirement will have claims denied for non-payment of services rendered during the 2026-2027 school year.
