01Billing team and hospice providers must verify Medi-Cal Provider Portal account access and registration status.
02Providers currently billing Medi-Cal fee-for-service should confirm existing Portal credentials work.
03New Medi-Cal hospice providers or those without Portal access must register immediately at the Medi-Cal Providers website to avoid submission delays.
04All staff involved in attestation submission should attend the mandatory training webinar on August 26, 2026 (11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.) by registering through the Medi-Cal Learning Portal.
05Update internal workflows and checklists to reflect the new Portal-based submission process.
If missed: Failure to register and transition by September 1, 2026 will result in inability to submit attestations and potential compliance issues with Medi-Cal.
