Summary
Evolent Health will begin managing prior authorization requests for medical and radiation oncology services for Highmark members starting May 1, 2026. Training webinars are available before and after the go-live date to help providers understand the new authorization process.
Action Required
Before May 1, 2026: Oncology providers and billing staff must register for and attend Evolent training webinars (pre go-live sessions April 28-30 or post go-live sessions May 5-7). Contact providertraining@evolent.com for questions. Update billing workflows to route oncology prior authorizations through Evolent instead of directly to Highmark.
