Action Required
By September 1, 2026: All referring, ordering, attending and prescribing providers must be registered with AHCCCS or claims will be denied. Visit AHCCCS Provider Enrollment to begin registration process. Immediately: Transition from ServiceDesk to new AHCCCS Solutions Center portal for submitting tickets and provider interactions. For behavioral health billing: Always append HQ modifier for group services using codes H0004, H2038, H2014, H2018 to avoid reimbursement issues. For dental claims: Use two-digit format for tooth numbers (01, 02) to prevent claim returns/denials.
