Summary
Illinois Medicaid is transitioning to a new provider enrollment system called IMPACT, requiring all providers to either enroll initially or revalidate their existing enrollment. Current MMIS enrollees must revalidate by the end of 2015, while new providers can enroll starting August 3, 2015.
Action Required
By December 31, 2015: All current Illinois Medicaid providers must revalidate their enrollment in the new IMPACT system using their mailed Application ID. New providers can enroll starting August 3, 2015. Billing team must ensure all required documents are ready: NPI number, certified W-9 form, taxonomy number, current licenses/certifications, and valid email address. Contact IMPACT Help Desk at (877) 782-5565 or IMPACT.Help@Illinois.gov for assistance. Failure to revalidate will result in inability to bill Illinois Medicaid.
