Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana has added new CPT/HCPCS codes to their system effective July 1, 2022, and is updating flu vaccination reimbursement rates effective November 1, 2022. They are also now reimbursing for commercially-purchased COVID-19 treatment Bebtelovimab when billed with modifier UC for dates of service after August 15, 2022.

By November 1, 2022: Billing team must update system with new flu vaccination allowable charges by accessing iLinkBlue Professional Provider Allowable Charges Search tool and entering date 11/01/2022. For COVID-19 treatment Bebtelovimab, ensure claims for commercially-purchased medication include modifier UC for dates of service after August 15, 2022. Update billing system to recognize new CPT/HCPCS codes added July 1, 2022.
