Summary
Starting September 1, 2025, individual occupational therapists and OT groups can enroll as Medicaid billing providers for COPE/Confident Caregiver services using procedure code S5108. Previously, only home health agencies could bill for these caregiver training services.
Action Required
By September 1, 2025: OT providers interested in COPE/Confident Caregiver services must: 1) Complete Drexel University online training (free through Sept 30, 2025), 2) Enroll in CMAP with provider type/specialty 87/171 (OT groups) or 17/171 (individual OTs), 3) Submit attestation credential letter to DSS.
