Summary
Indiana Medicaid will now reimburse for third-dose Moderna COVID-19 vaccine administration (CPT 0113A) for immunocompromised children ages 6 months through 5 years, retroactive to June 17, 2022. The reimbursement rate is $37.21 for dates of service through December 31, 2022, and $38.95 for dates of service on or after January 1, 2023.

By July 24, 2023: Billing team must update system to include new CPT code 0113A for third-dose Moderna COVID-19 vaccine administration for ages 6 months through 5 years. Link to vaccine code 91311 and revenue code 636. Set reimbursement rates: $37.21 for DOS through 12/31/22, $38.95 for DOS after 1/1/23. Resubmit eligible claims within 90 days for managed care or 180 days for fee-for-service, including copy of bulletin first page.
