Summary
Cigna Healthcare is adding 9 new oncology drugs to their dose rounding program effective July 7, 2025. The program rounds drug doses down to the nearest vial size when within 5-10% of prescribed dose, and all prior authorizations are managed through EviCore.
Action Required
By July 7, 2025: Billing team must update prior authorization workflows for the 9 newly added oncology drugs (J9317, J9063, J9227, J9204, J9023, C9302, C9303, J9380, J3055) to route through EviCore system. Review EviCore prior authorization website changes and reference the quick reference guide for dose rounding calculations when billing these injectable oncology drugs.
