Provider Enrollment Town Hall

Effective date
Aug 1, 2026
Identified
Oct 6, 2026

Summary

Alaska Medicaid's provider enrollment process now uses standard submission rules, effective August 1, 2026, along with new automatic reply messages. Each email must use the required subject line, contain only one application or revalidation, and include all required supporting documents, or it will be returned. About 70% of applications received are returned to the provider, most often for incomplete or incorrect forms, incorrect provider identifiers, LexisNexis identity verification failures, missing required documentation, and incomplete ownership information.

Action · 7 steps
01Already effective August 1, 2026: Providers must submit enrollment documents using the required subject line.
02Use the six-digit Application Tracking Number only for new applications (for example APP123456-AK), the seven-digit Medicaid ID only for revalidations (for example PID1234567-Revalidation), and the seven-digit Medicaid ID only for update requests (for example PID1234567-Update).
