Summary

Nevada Medicaid is changing the Active Directory domain authentication for CAQH/CORE EDI services from NVPAD to NV. Billing teams must update service account credentials from NVPAD\userid to NV\userid format by September 28, 2026. A scheduled maintenance window will occur September 27–28, 2026, during which the eligibility and claim verification services will be unavailable.

Action Required

Before Sep 28, 2026
By September 28, 2026: IT and billing operations teams must update all CAQH/CORE EDI service account configurations in production systems. Change the username field from NVPAD\userid to NV\userid format in all three endpoints (CoreBatch, CoreRealTime, CoreTransaction). Keep all other settings and passwords unchanged. Prepare for service unavailability from 5 p.m. Pacific Time on September 27 through 2 a.m. Pacific Time on September 28, 2026. Verify connectivity immediately after maintenance window. Failure to update credentials will result in authentication failures and inability to submit eligibility and claim verification transactions to Nevada Medicaid, causing claim processing delays.
