Summary
Maryland consolidated three Developmental Disabilities Administration Medicaid waiver programs (Family Supports, Community Supports, and Community Pathways) into a single Community Pathways Waiver program. This consolidation includes updated reimbursement rates for all provider-managed and self-directed services that must be used for billing services rendered on or after October 6, 2025.
Action Required
Immediately: Billing team must update fee schedules in billing system with new rates from the three attached rate charts (Attachments A, B, and C) for all Community Pathways Waiver services. Use these updated rates for all services rendered on or after October 6, 2025. Update self-directed services rates using the revised DDA Self Directed Services Manual dated October 6, 2025. Verify billing system recognizes that Community Pathways Waiver is now the only DDA waiver program (Family Supports and Community Supports waivers no longer exist).
