Summary
Oregon Health Authority (OHA) has extended the due date for Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) to submit their pre-release Reentry health care services readiness plan from January 1, 2027 to January 31, 2027. This is a plan contract deliverable extension based on anticipated low demand for pre-release services. OHA will provide the readiness plan template by November 2, 2026.
Action Required
By January 31, 2027: CCO administrative and compliance teams (not billing teams directly) must ensure the practice's CCO submits the pre-release Reentry health care services readiness plan to OHA. Billing teams should be aware this is a compliance deadline for their CCO's contracting obligations. Notify appropriate CCO leadership to track the November 2, 2026 template release date and plan submission accordingly. Failure to submit by the deadline may result in contract compliance issues for the CCO.
