Summary
South Carolina DHHS is eliminating the memorandum of agreement (MOA) requirement for PASRR Level I Screening forms and introducing a revised screening form. All PASRR procedures are being consolidated into provider manuals, and the new form version becomes mandatory for all submissions.
Action Required
By February 1, 2026: Nursing facilities and hospitals must stop using the old PASRR Level I Screening form and switch to the revised version. Download the updated form from the Nursing Facilities Services and Hospital Services provider manuals. Dispose of old forms to prevent accidental use, as submissions with outdated forms will be returned for resubmission after Feb. 1, 2026. Consider attending webinars on Jan. 27 (10-11 a.m.) or Jan. 29 (3:30-4:30 p.m.) for training.
