Action Required

Action needed
By July 1, 2026: Billing team must download updated prospective rate letters from the secure web portal via Myers and Stauffer LC (MSLC) using the provider number verification process. Share rate letters with accounting/bookkeeping staff to update billing system rates in the accounting software. Download and implement the updated Medicare Coinsurance Worksheet from the Nursing Facility Document Library for all dates of service on or after July 1, 2026. Update internal records to reflect the new personal needs allowance of $109.00 per month for Medicaid participants. If rate letters are not received by June 30, 2026, contact MSLC at (410) 356-9256 immediately. Failure to update rates will result in underbilling and revenue loss.
