Review Changes to Anesthesia Rates for Commercial Plans

By July 31, 2026: Billing team must access Availity® Essentials and review the updated RBRVS and Anesthesia Conversion Factors Policy in the Plan Document Viewer to obtain the new anesthesia conversion factor rates. Update all billing system conversion factors and fee schedules for BCBS Montana commercial plans to reflect the new rates. If not already registered, complete free Availity® Essentials registration by contacting Availity Client Services at 800-282-4548. Ensure all anesthesia claims submitted on or after August 1, 2026 use the updated conversion factors. Failure to update rates will result in incorrect reimbursement and potential claim denials or overpayments.
