Do NOT flag delayed payments as denials or follow up prematurely—Maryland Medicaid has confirmed resolution by mid-week. Update accounts receivable aging reports to reflect expected delays for July 9-10 payment batches. Monitor Maryland Medicaid communications for any further updates. Notify providers and clinical staff to expect delayed reimbursement. If payments do not arrive by July 18, 2026, escalate to Maryland Department of Health Office of Medicaid Provider Services.
