Summary
Texas HHSC has updated the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Personal Care Services (PCS) Bill Codes Table, adding three new service codes for personal attendant services effective August 1, 2026. These additions include Primary Home Care (PHC) PAS Level 1 CDS, Family Care (FC) Agency Admin PAS CDS, and Community Attendant Services (CAS) PAS CDS-Agency, all mapped to new HCPCS codes in the CMS Long-term Care Fee-for-Service system.
Action Required
Before August 1, 2026: Billing team must obtain and review the updated EVV PCS Bill Codes Table (available in Excel and PDF formats from the HHSC EVV webpage). Update billing software and claims management system rules to recognize and properly map the three new service codes: G0718 (Service Group 7, Service Code 17V - PHC PAS Level 1 CDS), G0747 (Service Group 7, Service Code 17CV - FC Agency Admin PAS CDS), and G0750 (Service Group 7, Service Code 17DV - CAS PAS CDS-Agency). Ensure all claims submitted on or after August 1, 2026 use the correct HCPCS codes and service codes. If your practice provides personal care services in Texas under CMS LTC Fee-for-Service, verify which of these new codes apply to your service offerings and staff coders accordingly.
