Summary
Nevada Medicaid has corrected an error that previously allowed Nurse Midwives (Provider Type 74) to bill sleep study codes G0398, G0399, and G0400. These codes are now properly denied for this provider type and cannot be billed going forward.
Action Required
Effective February 23, 2026: Nurse Midwives (Provider Type 74) must stop billing codes G0398, G0399, and G0400 for Nevada Medicaid patients. Update billing system rules to prevent these codes from being submitted by PT 74. Claims using these codes will be denied.
