Action Required
Before July 18, 2025: Billing teams at eligible New Mexico providers must update billing systems to include procedure codes H0044 (monthly reimbursement) and H0043 with modifiers U1-U7 for pre-tenancy services and U8-UD for tenancy support services. Ensure billing software recognizes that H0043 codes are for tracking only and do not generate separate reimbursement. At least one H0043 code must be billed with each H0044 claim for reimbursement approval.
