Starting March 1, 2026, Tango will manage all home health care referrals and prior authorizations for Medicare Plus Blue and BCN Advantage members. There's a 90-day grace period until May 31, 2026, where referring providers don't need to submit referrals, but after June 1, 2026, all referrals must go through Tango.

By May 31, 2026: All referring providers must establish connection with Tango and complete transition activities. Starting June 1, 2026: Submit all skilled home health referrals for Medicare Plus Blue and BCN Advantage members to Tango instead of direct to home health agencies. Train discharge planners and care teams on new Tango operational model. Failure to submit referrals through Tango after June 1 may result in authorization delays.
