Before June 1, 2025: All facilities and providers must establish workflows to contact Alacura immediately when medical transport decisions are made for TRS participants. Contact via phone (866-671-4834), fax (866-671-4995), or online. Ambulance providers must verify Alacura engagement before patient pickup. Update staff protocols to check eligibility through Availity Essentials to determine if prior authorization or clinical review is required. Failure to engage Alacura may result in transport denial or non-coverage.
