Four new HCPCS/CPT codes are now billable with specific rates, and providers should include social determinant of health diagnosis codes when applicable.
Action Required
By October 1, 2024: Billing teams at MIHP-certified providers must update billing systems to include new HCPCS/CPT codes H1001 ($92.09), 99600 ($138.14), T2022 ($77.06), and H1004 ($108.89). Update encounter forms to remind providers to include primary diagnosis codes for infant/pregnancy conditions and secondary SDOH codes (Z55-Z65 range). Configure telehealth billing to use modifier 95 for audio-visual services with appropriate place of service codes.
