Summary
Starting July 1, 2026, Oregon Health Authority requires most 1915(i) Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) residential providers to submit referrals through the new Comagine Health Provider Portal instead of current methods. This affects residential service providers, Community Mental Health Programs, Secure Residential Treatment Facilities, Young Adults in Transition providers, and non-Medicaid residential providers.
Action Required
By June 26, 2026: Register for Comagine Health Provider Portal access by emailing completed Provider Portal Registration Packet to ORBHSupport@comagine.org or faxing to 877-575-8309. By June 30, 2026: Complete required CHPP training available on Comagine Health website. By July 1, 2026: Begin submitting all 1915(i) HCBS residential placement referrals through CHPP portal only. Note: This does not replace prior authorization requests through MMIS.
