01Before April 1, 2026: Billing team must update billing software to discontinue use of CPT codes G2211 and G2212.
02Update encounter forms and EMR templates to use standard E/M codes 99202-99205 and 99211-99215 instead.
03Train providers on proper E/M code selection to accurately reflect service level and duration.
04Claims submitted with G2211 or G2212 on or after April 1, 2026 will be denied.
