Home Health Agencies interested in CAPABLE services must: 1) Contact DSS Community Options Unit at DSSCOPECAPABLEattestation@ct.gov to initiate credentialing, 2) Obtain CAPABLE license from CAPABLE National Center, 3) Complete staff training for OTs, RNs, and contracted handy workers, 4) Upload CAPABLE license to Gainwell Technologies secure portal, 5) Use V1 modifier on all CAPABLE claims through 6/30/2025 to receive enhanced rates. Claims without V1 modifier will be denied.
