Summary
Connecticut Medicaid (CMAP) updated procedure codes for 2025 HCPCS changes effective January 1, 2025, and will implement quarterly ICD-10 updates effective April 1st with 50 new surgical codes added and 5 discontinued. Claims with new procedure codes were reprocessed and appear on March 11, 2025 remittance advice.
Action Required
By April 1, 2025: Billing team must download the updated CMAP Addendum B V26.0 from www.ctdssmap.com Hospital Modernization page to access new 2025 HCPCS codes and prepare for 50 new ICD-10 surgical codes becoming effective April 1st. Update billing system with new codes when the diagnosis grouper is installed. Review March 11, 2025 remittance advice for reprocessed claims with ICNs beginning with 61 or 27.
