Action Required
By January 1, 2001: Billing team must add 47 new HCPCS laboratory codes to billing system with specified maximum fee allowances. By July 1, 2001: Remove 17 deleted HCPCS codes from billing system and replace with specified crosswalk codes where available. Update reimbursement rates for codes 82947, 84597, 85535, and 89320 to new maximum fees. Laboratory staff must use only approved codes when submitting New Jersey Medicaid claims.
