Summary
MassHealth is discontinuing Adult Day Health Admission and Re-engagement services (codes S5105 and S5105 KZ) effective July 1, 2025. The codes will remain active through September 30, 2025 only for submitting claims for services provided through June 30, 2025.
Action Required
By September 30, 2025: Billing team must submit all remaining claims for Adult Day Health Admission and Re-engagement services (S5105 and S5105 KZ) for dates of service through June 30, 2025. Update billing software to prevent use of these codes for services after June 30, 2025. Remove codes from encounter forms and billing templates after September 30, 2025.
