Action Required
Immediately: Eligible provider types (hospitals outpatient, physicians, APRNs, DME providers, nurse midwives, physician assistants) must update billing systems to include new breast pump HCPCS codes E0602, E0603, A4287, and E0604. Note that claims will initially suspend with error code 853 until MMIS system is updated by Nevada Medicaid. DME providers must configure quantity limits for replacement supplies (A4281-A4286). Hospital grade pumps (E0604) require prior authorization and are limited to hospitals and DME providers only.
