Summary
Colorado Medicaid has eliminated the requirement for sworn Statement of Lawful Presence for newly enrolling direct-pay individuals and Network Participation Verification forms when completing managed care network participation panels, both effective February 1, 2025. Additionally, the Provider Services Call Center will transition from Gainwell to Optum on May 1, 2025, with a new phone number to be announced.
Action Required
By May 1, 2025: Update contact information and staff training materials with the new Provider Services Call Center phone number once announced by the Department. Monitor the Colorado Medicaid Enterprise Solutions (CMES) Transition web page for updates. Note that enrollment processes are now streamlined - direct-pay individual providers no longer need to submit Affidavit of Lawful Presence or Network Participation Verification forms.
