Summary
California Medi-Cal providers must complete mandatory Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training through one health plan. Established providers have until end of 2025, while new providers must complete training within 90 days of starting.
Action Required
By December 31, 2025: All established providers must complete DEI training through one Medi-Cal health plan (Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield Promise, Health Net, Molina Healthcare, or Kaiser Permanente). New providers must complete training within 90 days of start date. Training content will be available January 2025. Contact HealthEquity@lacare.org with questions.
