Claims incorrectly sent to GAU will be returned for resubmission.

Immediately: Billing team must ensure all claim adjustments, retractions, and medical record submissions use the Physician/Provider Claim Adjustment Request form and mail to Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, Attn: Basic Claims Administration – Inquiry Unit 00066, 500 Exchange Street, Providence, RI 02903-2699. Stop sending any claim adjustment requests to the Grievance & Appeals Unit. Incorrectly submitted claims will be returned causing processing delays.
