BCBSRI is transitioning from fax-based to electronic attestation for provider demographics in 2019. Providers will need to use the bcbsri.com portal with a new 'Update Practice Info' link to complete attestations electronically.
Action Required
By early 2019: All office staff should create bcbsri.com accounts if they don't already have one by requesting a Provider Identification Number (PIN) through the BCBSRI website. Web administrator must add portal access for additional staff. Monitor email for notifications when electronic attestations are loaded to the portal and complete them promptly using the new 'Update Practice Info' link.
