By January 1, 2020: Billing team must update patient eligibility verification systems to reflect discontinued BlueCHiP with Flex product family and 8 dropped plans (HMC2C Coin 83, 94, 342, 52; VantageBlue 113, 22; BlueSolutions 65, 69). Update copay schedules for BlueSolutions plans 83 and 84 with new OOP maximums ($2,800/$5,600). Remove free sick visit benefit from VantageBlue plan processing. Verify coverage for expanded preventive depression medications on applicable plans to avoid claim denials.
