BCBS Rhode Island is making system changes to their MHK authorization portal effective May 3, 2021. The Contact Name field will move to a new location under the ZIP Code line, and a new optional Contact Phone field has been added for capturing contact person phone numbers that differ from the main office number.

By May 3, 2021: Staff who submit authorizations through BCBS Rhode Island's MHK portal should note the new field locations - Contact Name will now appear under ZIP Code line. Optionally, enter Contact Phone number if the contact person's phone differs from the main office number to improve communication accuracy.
