Summary
BCBSRI is launching a new Medicare Advantage plan called BlueRI for Duals (HMO-DSNP) effective January 1, 2022, exclusively for dual-eligible Medicare/Medicaid members. The network is limited to providers associated with ACOs, and all participating providers must complete mandatory training by March 30, 2022.
Action Required
By March 30, 2022: All providers participating in BlueRI for Duals network must complete initial D-SNP training at bcbsri.com/provider and submit the D-SNP Provider Attestation Form. Billing team must verify eligibility for dual-eligible members through the secure provider portal before rendering services. Providers who fail to complete training within 10 days of notification will be referred to BCBSRI Medical Director.
