Summary
BCBSRI launched a new Medicare Advantage plan called BlueRI for Duals (HMO-DSNP) for dual-eligible members effective January 1, 2022. Only providers associated with ACOs are included in this network, and all participating providers must complete mandatory training by March 30, 2022.
Action Required
By March 30, 2022: All providers participating in BlueRI for Duals network must complete initial D-SNP training at bcbsri.com/providers and submit the D-SNP Provider Attestation Form. Billing team should verify member eligibility through the secure provider portal before rendering services. Providers who fail to complete training within 10 days of notification will be referred to medical director.
