Providers must update inaccurate information including names, addresses, phone numbers, and specialties, ensuring all active practice locations are included while removing inactive ones.
Action Required
Immediately: All providers must log into NPPES to review and update their provider information including practice name, mailing address, telephone/fax numbers, and specialty. Add all addresses where you actively see patients and where patients can schedule appointments. Remove any practice locations no longer in use. After updating, certify the information is accurate in NPPES. Note: This does not affect Medicare Fee-For-Service billing.
